Gingerbread of madness

Ingredients:

  • 260g honey
  • 125g butter
  • 150g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • one eighth to one quarter liter of milk
  • 1 half packet baking powder
  • 1 TL baking soda
  • 3 TL ground cinnamon
  • 2 TL ground cloves
  • 1 TL ground cardamom
  • 2 TL ground allspice
  • grated zest of half a lemon
  • 2 tbsp. cacao
  • 500g flour
  1. Heat honey and butter together in saucepan, melt butter, let cool.
  2. Mix all ingredients together (preferably sift) until a thick but liquid dough is formed. Therefore, add milk only gradually until it is enough.
  3. Pour onto a baking tray lined with baking paper, spread. Tip for beginners: To prevent the paper from sliding around on the tray, put a few squirts of water on the tray and THEN spread out the paper. Sticks!
  4. Bake dough between 20-30 minutes at 175 degrees.
  5. Take out, let cool and cut into pieces.
