Gingerbread of madness
Ingredients:
- 260g honey
- 125g butter
- 150g sugar
- 2 eggs
- one eighth to one quarter liter of milk
- 1 half packet baking powder
- 1 TL baking soda
- 3 TL ground cinnamon
- 2 TL ground cloves
- 1 TL ground cardamom
- 2 TL ground allspice
- grated zest of half a lemon
- 2 tbsp. cacao
- 500g flour
- Heat honey and butter together in saucepan, melt butter, let cool.
- Mix all ingredients together (preferably sift) until a thick but liquid dough is formed. Therefore, add milk only gradually until it is enough.
- Pour onto a baking tray lined with baking paper, spread. Tip for beginners: To prevent the paper from sliding around on the tray, put a few squirts of water on the tray and THEN spread out the paper. Sticks!
- Bake dough between 20-30 minutes at 175 degrees.
- Take out, let cool and cut into pieces.
